What do you like to do at the water’s edge?

So ends this part of the creek stories that I am telling.

I like this scene because it kind of takes you back in
time. I am not so fond of the wars, but
I am fond of the fashions they had then.
This is still part of Mill Creek. We drove around one day and we found this
road that went down almost into Virginia.
We live in West Virginia but we are like 30 miles or less from the
Virginia boarder. Well on this part of
the road there was an entrance into a small park. You could see it from the road. On the road that we were on it eventually
came out to a private property but before you go to that property there was s
shooting range. We did not go to the
shooting range but stayed on this very skinny road. It was so skinny that in parts you had to be
careful where your tires were on it. We
didn’t want to see the creek up close and personal you know. Anyway this park the creek was between this
road and the other side was flat and there were a few picnic tables there. This is a picture just before you get to it
on the way back. I thought it was so serene and nobody was there.
I took this photo of the three rivers that meet in the town
of Pittsburgh in the state of Pennsylvania.
In 2009 we went to a Knights of Columbus Convention in Pittsburgh. While the men are in all day meetings, the
ladies get to visit places in the nearby towns, go shopping sight see and have
lunch together. Oh it was a wonderful
time here. Too bad I cannot have more
pictures because to get this picture we rode up on a trolley car to the top of
the mountain there. I am scared of
heights and a couple of the ladies helped me get there and walk out onto the
platform that was there. I was very
afraid that I would fall or that I would drop the camera. These three rivers merge into one further
down the river. I do not think that you
can see the dividing line where the different waters meet, but I did try to
take a picture of it.

A samll creek that runs down through the western side of the valley in Back Creek Valley. I took this picture becasue it was so beautiful. I think that we were on East Ganoe Town Road. There was a housing developement there that I had not realized was there. I took this in Jauary 2015. The creek was partially frozen over, but the small waterfall that was there was th prettiest things that I have seen in these parts and so I wanted to shre it with all of you. I am not even sure what the name of this streem is. One of the pictures is of the waterfall and the other is of the bridge someone built over the stream.
